First Actual Post!

Konnichiwa, douzo yoroshiku!
I had an entire essay planned on vivisection as my first official post, but that will have to wait for another day. There is something uniquely satisfying of having a full day’s, perhaps week’s, worth of work completed and then finding oneself quite bored. Not that there is not another batch of work waiting, but there is a lack of will to do anything other than be bored. It seems that age brings about a pleasure in these few moments of relative peace, so much that we yearn for nothing to do. As a child, I recall not being able to sit still and boredom was simply not allowed. Now, I am not sure what to do with myself when I have some spare time. It seems I should get cracking on next week’s project. Regardless, it seems it is time to re-learn how to be bored.
